Yes. All Fairfax EggBank donors are screened using advanced genetic testing to identify whether they are healthy carriers of known genetic conditions. This information allows intended parents to coordinate testing of their sperm source for compatibility before frozen donor eggs are shipped.

Donors are tested using a comprehensive and advanced genetic screening panels at the time they join the program. This includes testing for an expanded list of inheritable conditions to help reduce the risk of passing on genetic disorders.

Donors who have completed expanded panel genetic testing are marked with a double helix icon on their donor profile in the secure Donor Portal.
